Dayton, OH-based Premier Health Partners, Inc., wanted to implement an innovative ambulatory-care strategy to more effectively deliver community-based outpatient services to suburban Huber Heights. Premier was committed to listening to community needs to determine the best way to make high-quality healthcare services accessible to everyone.

To resolve Premier Health Partners' requirement, Alter+Care created a model for an integrated healthcare destination that includes ambulatory-care and wellness centers to establish the full continuum of care. With the addition of the 50,000 SF, two-story Premier Health Center, Huber Heights residents will have convenient access to a full complement of healthcare services that previously were available only at some distance away. Designed as a one-stop healthcare destination, Premier Health Center will support outpatient services and physician practices. In addition to its anchor wellness center, services include primary and specialty-care physician offices, full-service imaging, a laboratory, a physical therapy facility, a sports medicine practice, and comprehensive womens healthcare services.

Located just north of Dayton and with approximately 40,000 residents, Huber Heights has evolved from a bedroom community along I-70 into a full-service city. Huber Heights city planners are currently designing a downtown, and the Premier Health Center will contribute to stimulating future development around Chambersburg Road. Premier Health Partners was founded in 1995 as an Ohio health-management company that owns and/or operates three acute-care hospitals and affiliated medical clinics.
